Excel To TIBCO Real-time Automation (ExTRA)
Infosys' Real-time data from Microsoft (MS) Excel plug-in integrates MS Excel with TIBCO Rendezvous. Trading floor developers and financial engineers in hedge funds and banks can use it to exchange financial data. We have tested the performance of the plug-in at customer sites to increase customer satisfaction, reduce risks and costs associated with the loss of financial data.

- Subscriber service can pick up real-time data from TIBCO bus, RV Cache or EMS through the RTD server
- Publisher service publishes all fields of a particular message from MS Excel to TIBCO or EMS whenever any field is modified
- RTD server manages routing data returned from the server to the correct cell in the worksheet containing the RTD function
- RTD server is based on the push-pull mechanism. When RTD server has data, it informs MS Excel that it has data for excel. When excel is free, it pulls the data from the RTD server.
- The RTD function updates in real-time and provides cell-referencing capabilities

- Optional subject name in MS Excel. If subject name is not present in MS Excel, it is fetched from the Admin GUI.
