This solution component uses the Instance Analyzer tool to enable speedy identification and extraction of the customizations in the existing source application. It automates the listing of customizations, custom-developed objects and relevant references to them, thus saving time and mitigating risk. The Data Migration tool automates migration of core delivered data structures from the source to the target packaged application. It is based on a repository of mapping formats, extraction logic, transformation rules and programs to load the data and includes detailed logs, error handling capabilities and reconciliation mechanisms. The tool also enables organization- specific changes in data extraction, transformation and loading to be incorporated easily.
