The University of Toronto is one of the world's major research universities. If we look at the total publication output from major universities worldwide, there is an interesting phenomenon, the gold medal position is held by, no surprise, Harvard, but the silver or the bronze, depending upon how you count the total output goes either to the University of Tokyo or to the University of Toronto. We are a proud of our research and we are also proud of the caliber of our faculty and our students and many of our students have chosen to pursue the InStep internship program here with Infosys which is very clearly a global leader in software and business solutions. The appeal of Infosys is obvious, this is a company that is grown from India to have a truly global reach, is active in more than 60 cities with over a 100,000 employees. The opportunities at Infosys, offered to students and future employees is clearly boundless and our students are intrigued and excited by those opportunities. We look forward to deepening the partnership with Infosys in years ahead and we are confident that many more University of Toronto students will take advantage of the innovative InStep program and join the Infosys team.
