Hi, I am John Wang from China. I am currently doing my Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at the University of Michigan. I interned at SETLabs, Infosys Bangalore Development Center this summer and worked on an interesting project about the quantification of the network security. In this project, I worked with a team, composed of several experienced engineers from different backgrounds. And in this project, I got the chance to apply the Operations Research knowledge I learned in class to solve this real, practical and interesting network problem. At the same time, through InStep internship program, I made a lot of friends from the most prestigious universities all over the world, with different backgrounds, expertise, languages and cultures. And our student mentors from InStep team made our stay in India easy and enjoyable. Therefore, my new intern friends I and could use weekends to travel and explore India.
Oh, one thing I have to mention here, 'Taj Mahal' is really awesome! We had a lot of wonderful and unforgettable memories here. Thanks!
