Ricoh Americas consolidates IT systems, simplifies and streamlines processes – post its merger with IKON Office Solutions
Leverages comprehensive business knowledge and Oracle expertise – from Infosys
Ricoh Americas acquired IKON Office Solutions in 2008. The acquisition represented a significant step in Ricoh’s integrated global growth strategy. It was aimed at strengthening Ricoh’s business infrastructure in the US, Canada and Europe by combining with IKON’s strong sales and service network.
IT was a key pillar for the success of this merger. There was a need to expand the infrastructure globally, starting with integration of ERP systems. Hence, an Oracle transformation program was embarked upon with Infosys as a strategic partner, with a relationship of over 15 years.
