Infosys wins ASTD award for excellence in inclusivity

Infosys has won the Excellence in Practice Award 2009 for gender inclusivity from the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD).

The ASTD Awards honor excellence in workplace learning and performance. They recognize best practices and solutions that achieve organizational goals.

Infosys fosters a gender-sensitive and inclusive environment through the Infosys Women Inclusivity Network (IWIN). The network focuses on gender empowerment and work-life balance of women employees. IWIN launched SPARK, a unique program to introduce IT to the classroom, empower students at a young age and develop a barrier-free work environment.
