Infosys wins NASSCOM gender inclusivity award

Infosys won the NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Services Companies) award for excellence in gender inclusivity at the NASSCOM IT Women Leadership Summit 2008 in Bangalore.

The award recognizes the best practices of the Infosys Women's Inclusivity Network (IWIN) to promote gender empowerment and leadership development. Infosys won the award in the ‘IT services and product companies’ category for the second consecutive year.

The criteria for the award included leadership commitment to gender inclusivity, accountability, diversity programs organized, originality and integration of programs with business strategy and results.

IWIN recognizes the unique aspirations of women by providing avenues for their professional and personal development. Women constitute more than 30 percent of the Infosys workforce.
