Anand Nataraj
Vice President and Head, Infrastructure Management Services, Infosys
While heading the IMS unit, Anand heads the North America Geo Cluster at Infosys. He has over 20 years of experience in leadership positions in streams ranging across consulting (finance and telecom), telecom, energy, medical systems, consumer products and manufacturing.
Anand joined Infosys in 2002 as Group Manager, Business Development, in the communication and product services unit, and then moved on to head the Client Facing Group for Communication Service Providers (CSP) in November 2003. During his stint as the unit sales head for the Communication Media and Entertainment (CME) unit, Infosys moved to occupy a leading position in the market in the CME space.
Anand took over as the head for IMS in 2008. He started the IMS Academy Operations and "Transharbor" initiative along with Education and Research (E&R) to address scalability issues in the unit. This unit was rated as a leader in Infrastructure Management by Forrester, received the highest rating in the Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) space from Gartner, and was also recognized as the 'ITSM Leader of the Year' by QAI under his leadership.
As head of the North America Geo Cluster, Anand successfully launched leadership connect events and led Infosys' Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in North America. He has been conducting regular quarterly communication rollouts, sharing best practices across accounts and has been working with local universities to create brand awareness.
Anand has been well-recognized within Infosys and has won Infosys Excellence Awards in the areas of Client Services, Customer Delight and Unit Management.
Anand received his Bachelor's degree in Engineering from BMS College, Bangalore, and his Master's degree in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
