Dr. Marti G. Subrahmanyam

Marti G. Subrahmanyam is the Charles E. Merrill Professor of Finance, Economics and International Business at the Stern School of Business at New York University.
Marti has published several articles and books in corporate finance, capital markets and international finance. He has been a visiting professor at leading global academic institutions, including the University of Melbourne in Australia, LUISS in Italy and Singapore Management University in Singapore.
Currently, he serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals and is the co-editor of the Review of Derivatives Research. He has won many teaching awards including New York University's Distinguished Teaching Medal.
Marti serves as a consultant to several global corporations, industrial groups, and financial institutions. He serves as an advisor to international and government organizations, including the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
He holds degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology - Madras, the Indian Institute of Management - Ahmedabad and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
