Infosys Technologies (China) Co. Ltd. (known as Infosys China) is a fully owned subsidiary of Infosys Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: INFY), head quartered in Shanghai, China.
Infosys China was started with an initial capital of US$ 5 million in 2003 and an subsequent additional investment of US$ 5 million with a vision to build a world-class delivery hub in vibrant People's Republic of China. Since then we have carefully laid the right foundation to groom the talent pool with processes, technology and tools to provide best-in-class services to the clients. At present, Infosys China has about 1200 consultants providing IT & BPO Services to Global and Asia Pacific clients. We have development centers in Shanghai and Hangzhou. Shanghai Development Centers are located in Shanghai Pudong Software Park and Zhangjiang Hi Tech Park with focus on IT services such as Application Development and Maintenance, Enterprise Solutions, Independent Validation Services and Finacle Solution. The center located in Hangzhou specializes in BPO services.
