Golf Tournament at the Bali Hai Club

Bali Hai Golf Club

Infosys is proud to host the Shotgun Start Scramble Golf Tournament. The "best ball" tournament format ensures that both amateurs and experts share a memorable experience. After the tournament, enjoy a relaxed lunch with your fellow Connect attendees at the clubhouse.

You will find that Bali Hai golf course provides golfers with an experience not typically found in Las Vegas. The course offers water hazards, strategic bunker placement and demanding greens, so that the course dares to be challenging yet fair.

Bali Hai Golf Club

The Bali Hai course also includes seven acres of water and features a total of 4,000 trees with 2,500 stands of towering palms and 100,000 tropical plants.

The par-71 course measures 7,002 yards and provides spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip resorts from the fairways. Bali Hai’s unique layout includes teasers like #16, a par-3 island green that frequently comes with an audience from the Cili Restaurant patio and #3, a 468 yard par-4 with a creek running the entire right-side, balanced with a bunker on the left.

Play #3 and find out why it’s called "Shipwreck." Challenging play, breathtaking scenery and first-class facilities make Bali Hai a one-of-a-kind golfer’s paradise. Bali Hai was rated among the top 50 public courses in 2009 by GolfWorld.

Space is limited to the first 144 people who sign up. Do register early for this popular event.

Networking Activity at Springs Preserve

Join us for a fun and fulfilling volunteer project at The Springs Preserve http://www.springspreserve.org/ on August 8 from 8 am -12 noon. Projects will involve a unique indoor horticulture project as well as a garden support project. Activities are conducted by experts who will also offer guidance and awareness regarding this unique Las Vegas site. The projects will be hands-on and very engaging.

The Springs Preserve is committed to connecting Las Vegas with its past in order to guide the community toward a better future. By serving as a formal and informal educational venue, the Springs Preserve enables the local community and visitors to learn about sustainable living in the desert.

Located three miles from the famed Las Vegas Strip, the Springs Preserve is a 180-acre national historic site featuring botanical gardens, trails, historical structures, restored wetlands, wildlife exhibits, a play area and a 1,800-seat amphitheater. Exhibition galleries dedicated to showcasing art and traveling exhibitions of local and national significance are enhanced with on-site technologically advanced learning centers and interactive museum exhibits.

The preserve represents a unique environmental and cultural resource for Southern Nevada. In 1978, the land was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Twenty years later, the decision was made to actively preserve the site in order to create a gathering place where people could learn about and appreciate the Valley’s history and environment. The Water District authorized development of the Springs Preserve in 1997.

Explorers put the Las Vegas Valley on the map in the 1830’s even though Native Americans had been visiting the area for thousands of years. This historic land previously known as the "Big Springs" has been commonly referred to as the “Birthplace of Las Vegas." Come with us on this interesting journey!
