Networking Infrastructure Provider Reduces Development Costs
The client partnered with Infosys to develop a Network Management System (NMS) that could be used in its existing optical product lines and would also reduce development costs and time-to-market for its new products.Infosys provided architectural enhancements to the product and developed modules from the NMS framework to support various optical devices and their multiple versions. In addition, the Infosys team provided Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for previous product releases.
Apart from leveraging the Global Delivery Model (GDM) to keep costs under control, Infosys' in-depth experience in optical and NMS domains helped the client reduce development costs. The excellent planning, tracking and reporting mechanisms helped reduce overheads.
