Support Services for a Media Solutions Company

The client is a media solutions company that provides world-class media creation, management and distribution solutions for the motion picture industry. It needed a strong technology partner to provide hardware, firmware and software support for its product lines and also to build product feature enhancements. The company sought to reduce the cycle time and development costs for new products and maintenance costs for existing product lines.

Infosys developed a web-based Distribution Management Solution (DMS) using Documentum that efficiently addressed all requirements of the client. The scope of work included all aspects of a project including strategy, choice of technology, desired user experience and delivery management.

The solution enabled the client to:

• Work with a single technology partner for multiple development and support tasks, thus reducing costs, while keeping efficiency and quality levels high.

Reduce Total Cost of Operations (TCO) in comparison to the cost of previous versions due to Infosys' Integrated System Methodology (ISM) and Global Delivery Model (GDM).
