We have organized a separate program of social and fun-filled activities to ensure that you really get to network with other delegates and also enjoy and experience the various facilities available at the resort.

Monday, September 28th, 2009 – Time: 13.30 – 18.30 hrs

We have two options here and you can choose the one based on your preference and depending on when you would be arriving into the venue. Please indicate your preference on the registration page.

Option 1: TOUR OF LISBON

Tour the most panoramic sections of historic Lisbon. Soak in the beauty of some of the world famous icons of the "Golden Age" of Portuguese discoveries that date back to the 15th century. Visit Ajuda National Palace, one of the Portuguese royal family’s last residences.

Then, uncover the charms of Lisbon’s oldest quarters - Alfama, with its narrow and tortuous streets that lead all the way to St. Georges Castle where you can enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful view of this charming city, skirted by the meandering river Tagus.

This activity is open for all delegates including spouses. We would request you to plan your arrival in Lisbon on 28th September so that you are in time for one of the tours.

Option 2: REJUVENATE AT SIX SENSES SPA

We have arranged a session at the Six Senses Spa, within the Ritz Carlton Penha Longa Hotel and Golf Resort. As there is a limitation in the number of participants that we can accommodate for this activity, allocation will be on first come first served basis.

The Spa includes nine treatment rooms including a suite reserved for those who prefer more privacy. Housed within the stunning gardens is the jacuzzi, a contrast pool, a small waterfall, a platform over the pool for the practice of yoga and two gazebos for meditation and treatments such as Shiatsu. Delight in the fresh breeze of Sintra, bask under the radiant sun and enjoy the truly spectacular scenery.

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009 – Time: 15.30 - 18.30 hrs

We have two options and you can choose the one based on your preference. As there is a limitation in the number of participants that we can accommodate for each activity, allocation will be on first come first served basis. Option 1: GOLF TOURNAMENT AND CLINIC

Ranked among the top 30 courses in Continental Europe, The Atlantic Course designed by the famed Robert Trent Jones Jr, is escapist golf at its best. With its bold drives, courageous approaches and artful greens, it offers both an adrenalin rush and a soothing journey through one of Portugal's most inspiring landscapes.

Participate in an exclusive golf clinic cum tournament. While the experts can enjoy the game with a built-in tournament, for the novices, we have arranged for professional golf instructors to hold a private clinic to help participants with the technique, mechanics and intricacies of the game.

A great way to unwind, network and also take on your fellow delegates in the greens.

Option 2: TOUR OF SINTRA ON 4X4 JEEPS

Tour on 4X4 jeep, the beautiful town of Sintra, nestled in the foothills of Sintra mountains. A world heritage site of great cultural beauty – its natural riches as well as historic grandeur has made it the focus of much praise and attention. Greatly appreciated by kings and nobles as a country resort and eulogized by writers and poets like Lord Byron who called it “Glorious Eden”, Sintra is a land of magic and enchanting palaces, straight out of the fairytales!
