In October la Caixa was awarded the prize for the world's most innovative bank at the BAI-Finacle Global Banking Innovation Awards 2011. Benjami Puigdevall Esteve, Managing director of e-la Caixa and Alison Estrada, Director of Knowledge Network at BAI, will look at how innovation has impacted on la Caixa's customers and boosted the lender's reputation for leadership.

Speaker Profiles
Douglas Blakey joined Retail Banker International in 2005 as a reporter, before progressing to deputy editor and then editor. He has been editor of Retail Banker International for the past 2 years.
Alison Estrada manages the day-to-day execution of the BAI Knowledge Network portfolio which includes BAI Retail Delivery and other conferences, web events and online publishing. She is also responsible for content development and delivery of existing and new offerings. Previously, Alison held senior communications positions with eFunds and BAI . She has a B.A in Linguistics and French from University College Dublin, Ireland; a B.A in Television & Video Production from Columbia College and is a graduate of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.
