Responsibilities:
- Provide consulting and functional leadership for the services provided for projects in ETRM domain
- Liaise with business users/client managers/specialists to understand problems
- Produce detailed business change, systems requirements, and process flow documentation
- Facilitate and document business requirements and business cases
- Building domain competencies and manage knowledge
- Work closely with IT teams in domain knowledge ramp-ups
- Provide functional leadership in development/ implementation/maintenance projects
- Proactively understand challenges and issues. Make recommendations to improve functional solutions and workflows
- Suggest and validate various solution options
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in specific ETRM product space
Qualification:
Full-time university degree
Experience/Skills:
- Minimum of six years work experience within ETRM in an energy company, energy trading company with IT services background or in an IT services company
- Strong domain knowledge in energy trading space; understanding of trading life cycle, risk management, market analytics, deal analytics, energy and commodity instruments like derivatives, futures, options, swaps, P&L and exposure calculations, credit risk, market risk
- Exposure to IT Packages like OpenLink Endure, Sungard, Triple Point Tempest, SAS etc. would be an added advantage
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written/verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, strong bottom-line and functional leadership
- Ability to take the ownership of activities and the tenacity to ensure successful completion
- Native/near native German and very good English language skills
- Willingness to work for any employer in the European Union
