Infosys wins two Banker Technology Awards
Infosys won two awards at the Banker Technology Awards for outstanding work in wholesale and capital markets in two categories - Payments and Treasury Services, and Offshoring and Outsourcing. The Banker Technology Awards honor excellence and innovation in all areas of banking.
Infosys won the Best Payments and Treasury Services Project of the Year in the Payments & Treasury Services
category for developing an Enterprise Money Movement platform at a global financial services company. It facilitates money movement functions across internal business units and external financial institutions. The platform enables automated cheque processing, streamlines business processes, reduces time-to-market and enhances float optimization that will translate into cost savings of US$ 200 million over five years.
In addition, Infosys won the Best Offshoring and Outsourcing Project of the Year in the Offshoring & Outsourcing
category for Program Autumn, a multi-million, multi-sourcing project at a leading European bank. Infosys migrated more than 160 mission critical applications of the client's front, mid and back-office investment banking operations to two outsourcing partners. The awards jury noted, "Outsourcing on such a large scale is rare in this area of the bank due to the deep capital markets expertise required to support the systems and the requirement for immediate turnaround in the event of an incident."
