Users can book hotel rooms right from Facebook
Roger Seshadri, SVP and CIO, Melco Crown talks about their strategic partnership with Infosys. The two companies jointly developed a Gaming Entertainment Management System (GEMS) that is user-friendly, user-configurable, and provides dynamic provisioning to support their operations.
The client, a large gaming conglomerate, has an award-winning loyalty program with the participation of over 35 million patrons. It has consistently achieved significantly higher cross-property play than its competitors through closed-loop CRM practices. Infosys re-engineered the Casino Management System (CMS) to meet the business objectives of Visibility, Control, Transferability and Patron Inspiration, thus enabling the client to offer a simpler and more user-friendly solution to members of its loyalty program.
The client offers upscale and luxury hotel and resort accommodations through proprietary lodging brands and a management services division. It owns, leases, manages and franchises hotels and resorts in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe. As one of the world's premier hotel operating companies, its growth strategy includes e-commerce initiatives, in addition to increasing distribution and building brand equity through acquisitions, franchise contracts, customer conversions and development.
