Argos partners with Infosys to cultivate loyal customers

How does a leading home and general merchandiser retailer engage customers and sustain its competitive advantage? By developing a robust and scalable customer loyalty and procurement system.

 

Argos Business Solutions, the business division of U.K.'s Home Retail Group, serves 130 million customers online, on the phone and through 700 stores. The company partnered with Infosys to implement a user-friendly customer loyalty and procurement system based on WebSphere Commerce. Infosys’ solution enables customization of rewards programs for business customers, and ensures easier and quicker access to rewards for end users.

 

According to Jon Dixon, General Manager – Rewards, Argos Business Solutions, “Infosys' understanding of the retail sector, especially the loyalty management space, brought valuable experience and knowledge to the development process. This experience has allowed rapid integration with Home Retail Group core systems and has ensured quick results.”
