Convergence: Center of Excellence
Convergence Lab is an Integrated Research Center jointly initiated by Infosys Labs and Communications Media and Entertainment (CME) Business Unit of Infosys. The Convergence Lab aims to build a connection across a wide spectrum in creating new economic models. To achieve this, it proposes to use emerging market constraints to create new products and solutions with 10x increase in price-performance over existing ones.
The Convergence Lab seeds the progress of innovative products in connected communities, tele-health, media convergence and blended services. The key activities involve, generating IP, creating working proof of concepts, early product prototypes and analyzing product needs from the market. This apart, Convergence Lab also disseminates e2e solutions for multiple markets in the chosen domains.
