The Centers of Excellence (CoE) of Infosys focus on extending technology competence in the areas of:


Cloud Computing

Our Cloud Computing CoE's vision is to enable Infosys' enterprise customers achieve operational excellence by leveraging cloud computing platforms. We are pursuing research for setting up and operating cloud computing platforms efficiently, application migration to cloud infrastructure, cloud security and quality of service assurance, and business innovation through cloud ecosystems.

Convergence

The Convergence CoE proposes to use emerging market constraints to seed the progress of innovative products in connected communities. It primarily pursues R&D in advanced testing, pervasive computing and wireless sensor networks. It also specializes in creating working proof of concepts and early product prototypes.

Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence

Our Data Warehouse (DW) and Business Intelligence (BI) CoE distills information from projects, identifies technology trends and provides thought leadership to the entire organization. The group also sets direction, refines methodologies and processes for data warehouse development and shares best practices.

Grid Computing

Our Grid Computing CoE's vision is to create an adaptive services Grid through service-oriented architectural constructs. We pursue projects in areas such as Performance and Scalability, Management and Flexibility, Infrastructure Utilization and Consolidation, and Information Virtualization.

J2EE

Our Java Enterprise CoE partners with customers to realize business benefits through effective adoption of Java Enterprise technology. We pursue research in areas such as Application Development and Maintenance and Automated Software Engineering.

Microsoft

The Microsoft CoE delivers maximum business impact by working closely with Microsoft Product Teams to pioneer the adoption of new technologies. We build solution frameworks, share best practices, and productivity improvement tools for architecting and implementing integrated enterprise quality applications.

SOA

Our Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) CoE pursues multiple R&D projects to create a suite of methodologies, frameworks and accelerators to enable scalable and customer-centric adoption of SOA and Web Services. We pursue research in areas such as Service Adaptation and SOA Software Engineering.
