Mission

In 1996, Infosys established the Infosys Foundation to support the underprivileged sections of society. Infosys contributes 1% of profit after tax to the Foundation for its campaign to improve the welfare of people in rural areas of India.

At the outset, the Infosys Foundation implemented programs in Karnataka. It subsequently covered Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, and Punjab in a phased manner. A dedicated team at the Foundation identifies programs in the areas of:
