Sudha Murty
 |
Sudha Murty is a trustee, and chairperson of the Infosys Foundation. Ms Murty has an ME Electrical from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. She started her career as a Development Engineer with TELCO. Later, she taught Computer Science to B.Sc and MCA students at a reputed college attached to Bangalore University. Ms Murty is a prolific writer in both Kannada and English. She has been a columnist for several English and Kannada dailies and also has 19 books to her credit – among them novels, travelogues, technical books and collections of real-life experiences. She is probably one of the few Kannada writers to have her work translated into so many Indian languages. Ms Murty has received several awards for her philanthropic and literary activities. |
Srinath Batni
 |
Srinath Batni, trustee of the Infosys Foundation, has served as a Director with Infosys since May 2000. Mr Batni received a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Prior to joining Infosys, he was Senior Manager – Technical Support, with an Indian subsidiary of a French multinational. Mr Batni joined Infosys in 1992 as Project Manager. Between 1996 and 2000, he served as Senior Vice President and Head – Retail and Telecommunications Business Unit, Infosys. He is currently Head – Strategic Groups and Co-Customer Delivery at Infosys. Mr Batni also serves on the Board of Infosys China and Infosys Australia.

Sudha Gopalakrishnan

Sudha Gopalakrishnan, trustee of the Infosys Foundation, has a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Kerala University. Women’s issues, especially those related to the girl child, are closest to her heart. Apart from the Infosys Foundation, Ms Gopalakrishnan is also a trustee of Pratiksha, which she and husband Gopalakrishnan S. started, to work in the areas of education and health. Along with her activities in the social sector, Ms Gopalakrishnan also has a keen interest in art and enjoys painting.
