The company wanted a state-of-the-art Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to plan, monitor and control operations. Direct Wines Implements Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0
In March 2011, trade journal Manufacturing & Logistics IT covered the success story of UK-based wine merchant, Direct Wines' partnership with Infosys to build an updated ERP solution. Direct Wines needed to increase business growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction and better manage its international catalog-based, order-to-cash business. Infosys designed, developed and implemented a solution based on Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0. As a result, Direct Wines reduced customer call time by up to 30 seconds per call, increased sales per hour from outbound calls by 10 percent, and reduced the time from order entry to fulfillment processing by 47 percent.
