Microsoft Dynamics NAV Implementation at a Vehicle Manufacturer

Business Need
The vehicle manufacturer planned to expand its dealer network and standardize its Dealer Management System (DMS) across the globe. It wanted to implement a DMS incorporating the functional and legal requirements in India. It was critical to overcome the error-prone manual process of keying in information in the existing DMS system that was neither uniform nor aligned with the client’s business processes. The client also wanted the new system to effectively interface with OEM systems and exchange information such as purchase orders, part numbers, etc.

Our Solution
The vehicle manufacturer partnered with Infosys to customize the DMS for India complying with legal as well as mandatory automotive and dealer requirements. We implemented and helped roll out the Microsoft Dynamics NAV across India, providing support to the client’s dealers. We also achieved the complex integration of vehicle manufacturer interfaces with the dealer management solution to transfer data automatically. The process of manual entry of data was fully automated.
