COMPSAC is an international forum for researchers, practitioners, managers and policy makers in computer software and applications.
| Topic: | "Challenges of Building High Performing On-demand Software" |
Session Description
‘On-demand’ software is delivered over the network as a service, for a fee. It enables product companies to offer their software as a service over the Internet rather than bundling it as a product that is installed individually for each client. The software poses unique technical challenges while conforming to performance and scalability requirements. This session identifies key performance and scalability issues that vendors may face as they shift to an ‘on-demand’ model.
