Session description
For many, Enterprise Architecture is a tactical exercise of managing standards and promoting good architecture practices in the organization. Through the results of Infosys’ survey of architects and decision-makers, this session will show how managing standards and promoting good architecture practices are indeed fundamental functions. It will also show how Enterprise Architecture is maturing as a guide for strategic decision-making. This session will examine the role of Business and Information Architecture in making EA strategic, and the changing face of the Enterprise Architect.

Speaker
Sohel Aziz has extensive experience in business-technology alignment, technology strategy advisory, technology business case development, and technology program management and analysis. He has developed and executed technology-enabled business transformation strategies using offshore delivery models. His is currently focused on enterprise architecture and effective governance models for business-IT alignment. He is working to formalize the impact of Web 2.0 technologies on our perception of enterprise architecture.
