The 19th Enterprise Architecture Practitioners Conference will discuss the core elements of creation and implementation of a Government Enterprise Architecture.
| Topic: | From Strategy to Architecture |
| Date/Time: | July 21-23, 2008 |
Session Description
Enterprise Architecture builds an organizational and technical landscape to help the organization implement its strategy. Understanding corporate strategy is the task of Enterprise Architects. But what does strategy really mean?
Strategy answers questions such as a) What is the business of the organization (i.e. how does it create value for stakeholders)? b) What are the key issues the organization is facing? and c) How is the organization going to respond to them?
A presentation will demonstrate, with the help of a case study, how to analyze the strategy of a financial services organization based on a multi-dimensional framework. It will also help you translate strategy into an enterprise architecture that meets its objectives.
