Phaedra Boinodiris, Responsible AI leader, Author of "AI for the Rest of US", IBM
A fellow with the London-based Royal Society of Arts, Boinodiris has focused on inclusion in technology since 1999. She currently leads IBM Consulting’s Trustworthy AI Practice, she is the AI ethics board focal for all of consulting, serves on the leadership team of IBM’s Academy of Technology and leads IBM’s Trustworthy AI Center of Excellence. She is the co-author of the book ‘AI for the Rest of Us’. Boinodiris is a co-founder of the Future World Alliance, a 501c3 dedicated to curating K-12 education in AI ethics. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in AI and Ethics at University College Dublin’s Smart Lab. In 2019, she won the United Nations Woman of Influence in STEM and Inclusivity Award and was recognized by Women in Games International as one of the Top 100 Women in the Games Industry as she began one of the first scholarship programs in the United States for women to pursue degrees in game design and development.

Steve Heibein is the US Federal Artificial Intelligence Lead for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Before HPE, Steve served as CIO, CTO, or VP Engineering for 20 years at several tech and media companies. In these roles, he oversaw AI, machine learning, and data analytics projects in the areas of life science, fraud prevention, natural language processing, identity theft, cybersecurity, and energy forecasting. Steve advises organizations on the use and deployment of AI solutions and regularly presents on the topics of high-performance computing and artificial intelligence.

He also drives the adoption of AI and automation within Infosys in all service offerings and internal functions to improve efficiency and drive differentiation. Bali manages the P&L for Industry Verticals and is responsible for competency development and development of service offerings, solutions, platforms and partnerships in the AI and automation domain. He has managed several large programs for Infosys for different Fortune 500 clients.Bali works with governments, think-tanks, academia, industries, and other regulatory bodies on various topics including AI adoption, responsible and ethical use of AI, and more.
