This session outlines how Baker Hughes successfully implemented a Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) to modernize its quality assurance (QA) team. The Hughes TCoE team supports more than 28 key applications spanning different technologies and business functions. Speaker Profiles
Mike Puntumapanitch has over 17 years of experience as a Program Manager and Technologist. He has delivered results, driven change, improved service levels, and integrated technology to provide business value for a range of Fortune 1000 companies. He has a strong project leadership background with hands-on experience in enterprise technologies and leading system development methodologies. Mike has supervised implementations and understands the benefits and challenges associated with using both COTS packages and custom developed applications. Currently, he is a Program Manager/ Testing Delivery Manager for CareFirst Enterprise Testing, Change and Configuration Management (ETCCM).
Srinivas Polisetty has more than 19 years of experience in the IT industry. He specializes in building end-to-end testing solutions for major Insurance, Healthcare and Life Sciences accounts. His expertise includes performing assessments and gap-analysis and understanding the current state of a testing organization. Srinivas builds implementation road maps to mitigate gaps and achieve cost, quality, and time-to-market optimization. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has presented at forums such as HP Universe and QAI. Currently, he is a Testing Practice Lead at Infosys.
Faisal Asif has over 18 years of experience in IT Enterprise Management. He believes that IT is an enabler of business growth, a catalyst that allows business leaders to be better informed, have a holistic view of processes and aids effective decision making. Being the IT Director with Baker Hughes, he is responsible for PMO, Testing Center of Excellence, Agile & CMMI and Continuous Process Improvement.
Jayasundar Rajagopalan has over 14 years of experience managing multiple QA projects for industry domains such as process control, oil and gas for organizations across North America and Europe. Currently, he is a Senior Project Manager with the Independent Validation Services (IVS) at Infosys. He is a Honeywell six sigma Black Belt certified professional and has previously presented papers at the HP Universe.
Vasudeva Naidu has over 13 years of experience during which he has helped companies define and implement testing efficiency improvement programs and has successfully deployed Test Centers of Excellence (TCoE). He oversees sales and client relationship management for several Insurance and Healthcare clients with the IVS at Infosys.
Shridhar Iyengar has over 22 years experience in software product development, information systems consulting and business applications architecting. Currently, he is the Product Manager for the HP Database Archiving product portfolio. He has set up an R&D and excellence center in Bangalore, India. His area of expertise includes business development in creating new and strategic opportunities.
Gaurav Mehta has over 14 years of experience predominantly in Sales, Client Relationship Management and Alliances. He is responsible for driving key strategic initiatives with HP and developing selective strategic solutions alliances for Finacle. He has helped several companies set up new business functions. Currently, he is the Global HP Relationship Manager, Finacle, Infosys technologies.
Ajay Gehani has more than 15 years of IT experience in Development, Testing, Operations and System Management. He is responsible for Test Virtualization, Functional Automation, Performance and SOA Testing for SunTrust's applications. His areas of expertise include creating competencies and leveraging synergies within different disciplines of the IT organization. He has helped build centralized QA/ TCoE, System Management and Development functions for several large U.S. corporations. Currently, he is a Vice President and Manager of Enterprise Specialized Testing department with SunTrust Bank.
Arun Kumar Mishra has more than 12 years of experience in the verification and validation services space. In the last five years, he has been involved in the Testing Center of Excellence - strategy, development and implementation; consulting for building independent and centralized QA function - setting goals, direction and execution for large U.S. corporations in the Banking and Financial Testing space. Currently, he is an Associate Engagement Manager with Infosys Technologies, and a testing centralization strategist.
Vineet Jha has 12 years of IT experience. He has led many large testing programs in Insurance and Healthcare sectors and has helped companies define and implement testing efficiency improvement programs. Currently, he is a Senior Project Manager with the Independent Validation Services (IVS) at Infosys.
Tarun Lalwani has over seven years of experience. His core expertise includes designing frameworks with QTP, QC and BPT. He has helped various clients setup frameworks for Test Automation. He has authored the first book on QTP - "QuickTest Professional Unplugged", which was recognized as the Best Automation book at the second ATI Automation Honors Award. Currently, he is a Senior Automation Consultant with the IVS at Infosys.
