Infosys in Fortune’s 100 fastest-growing companies
Infosys has been ranked in Fortune magazine’s 100 Fastest-Growing Companies 2009. Infosys is the only Indian IT services company among "the world’s supercharged performers" that is growing even during a downturn.
Global companies qualify for the Fortune 100 ranking by meeting criteria such as trading on a major U.S. stock exchange, filing quarterly reports to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and registering a compound annual growth in revenue and earnings per share of at least 20% annually over three years ended April 30, 2009. Companies are ranked by their growth rate in revenue, earnings per share and three-year annualized total return to investors for the period ended June 30, 2009. The Fortune 100 Fastest-Growing Companies 2009 rated companies from a range of industries, including technology, retail and energy.
