Fortune names N. R. Narayana Murthy among 12 greatest entrepreneurs of our time
N. R. Narayana Murthy, Founder and Chairman Emeritus, Infosys Limited, has been recognized among the World's Greatest Entrepreneurs in the list published by Fortune Magazine.
The list, which includes Steve Jobs of Apple and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, identifies entrepreneurs who have nurtured businesses that have had a social and economic impact, encouraged the spirit of entrepreneurship, have been led by innovation and have seen consistent growth over time.
Speaking on entrepreneurship, Mr. Murthy said, "It is all about sacrifice, hard work, lots of frustration, being away from your family, in the hope that someday you will get adequate returns from that."
