Infosys granted patents for data communication and abstract core
Infosys was granted two patents by the United States Patent and Trademark Office:
System and Method for Managing Playout Time in Packet Communication Network
Infosys’ invention enables effective transportation of packetized data communication. It provides an effective method for dynamically predicting and adjusting end-to-end delay to measure network delays, and consequently, manage packet delays.
Methods and System for Configurable Domain Specific Abstract Core (DSAC)
Our patented DSAC provides the architecture for implementing embedded applications across domains and improves their performance in power-constrained environments. It can be configured at the design, application initialization and run time configuration stages.
Till date, Infosys has filed 219 patent applications in India and the United States. We have been granted seven patents by the United States Patent and Trademark Office as of January 2010.
