Infosys Named Sainsbury's 2006 IT Supplier of the Year
Winner chosen against Sainsbury's 150 IT Suppliers
London, UK - May 14 2007: Infosys Technologies Limited today announced that it has been named Sainsbury's IT Supplier of the Year for 2006. Infosys was selected from among Sainsbury's 150 IT suppliers, including system integrators, IT services providers, hardware and infrastructure suppliers and products vendors. Infosys provides Sainsbury's with consulting, package implementation, development, support and maintenance.
The award recognizes the delivery and excellence of Infosys' solutions and services. Infosys was presented with the award based on Sainsbury's 3Cs criteria, which are:
- The partner is not complacent
- The partner is consistent in providing exceptional service
- The partner brings the best capabilities for services they provide
Angela Morrison, Sainsbury's CIO, said, "Infosys demonstrates our 3Cs' greatest alignment. We are very pleased to recognize Infosys for its performance and level of commitment to the success of Sainsbury's."
BG Srinivas, Head of EMEA, Infosys Technologies said, "Infosys delivers innovative IT solutions to key retailers in the UK. We are very happy to accept Sainsbury's accolade as a testimonial to our retail capability."
Sainsbury's CIO Angela Morrison presented the award to the Infosys Account Team, on March 22nd 2007 at Sainsbury's IT Supplier Conference in London.
