Infosys' Enterprise Architecture (EA) Survey 2008-09: Outsourcing of EA functions, a growing possibility
Outsourcing the functions of Enterprise Architecture (EA) has the potential to grow in line with outsourcing other IT services. The results of Infosys' Enterprise Architecture Survey 2008-09 reveal that EA teams involved in major initiatives engage trusted partners to manage operational activities.
We invited technology leaders from client organizations and the global IT community to participate in our Enterprise Architecture Survey 2008-09. 207 respondents from a cross-section of industries completed a web questionnaire. The results indicate several trends, including:
- EA is enabling business transformation
- EA practices continue to mature with increasing use of metrics and processes
- Increased outsourcing of EA functions are a strong possibility in the future
