Infosys' ACCORD is a script-less application-level test automation solution for functional testing. It is based on functional decomposition with test case optimization features.
Our solution's testing approach leverages application programming interfaces (APIs) and gateways to bypass user interfaces and directly test the underlying application logic. It depends on internalizing the basic building blocks of the underlying systems (function parameters, message structures, etc.) to create an architecture that permits flexibility in creating and re-using test cases.
Test Case Optimization ensures speed and effectiveness of testing by applying techniques such as pair-wise coverage. Our experience has demonstrated that reduction in the number of test cases by using pair-wise coverage significantly improves the speed and quality of testing.
