Microsoft and Infosys have launched Nextgenerationsupplychains.com,
an online supply chain center of excellence focused on supply chain visibility and collaboration. The portal brings together manufacturers and trading partners to share experiences and perspectives, and access productivity tools.
Supplychainbrain.com interviewed Sanjay Jalona, Vice President and Head of Manufacturing, Infosys, to learn more about the alliance and solutions developed at the Center of Excellence.
Sanjay states, “It’s rewarding to help manufacturers improve their global supply chain performance with solutions that gather and analyze data across the enterprise and its trading partners, and provide improved visibility and insight for supply chain pros to take quick, informed actions using a familiar, easy-to-use interface.”
He also added that Microsoft and Infosys are developing workbench applications for performance management, analytics, collaboration, and event-based exception management.
