Overview and Challenges
The client is in the midst of a multi-year strategic IT initiative to replace existing legacy applications primarily in the merchandising and order management areas. The program seeks to provide an integrated view of the company across multiple brands and multiple channels of operation. The new systems will provide timely visibility and decision support around product performance, inventory levels and historical daily sales by product and location.
Infosys Solution
Infosys partnered with the client to provide program management, development and Quality Assurance (QA) testing for the merchandizing and order management areas. To address the need for increased flexibility for pricing and promotions, Infosys is rolling out this Retek functionality across five brands. Retek merchandizing, sales audit and allocation modules have been rolled out for two brands and we are working with the client for rolling these functionalities to the other three brands. The new business processes and software capability will allow the client to meet its aggressive growth targets.
