Infosys' Mobile Middleware Platform
Manages mobile device diversity efficiently. The Mobile Middleware Platform offers ubiquitous mobility by abstracting the complexities of mobile devices from the transaction services. It understands which mobile device is being used to access the service and transcodes the user interface in real-time to optimize it for the specific device. Existing Internet transaction infrastructure can be leveraged with minimal modification and extended to provide mobile access quickly.
Infosys’ Proximity-based Information Delivery Platform
Enables solutions to provide location-specific information delivery to mobile devices using a low-cost WLAN. For instance, information on inventory on a shelf to an in-store attendant.
Infosys’ SMS Engine
Leverages SMS as a communication channel for mobilizing your business processes. It provides a standard interface to send and receive SMS messages using the http protocol.
The enterprise version uses a GSM/GPRS modem connected to a PCMCI slot to poll the SIM for new messages and take appropriate action.
Infosys’ Software-based Authentication Token
Offers a secure, synchronous, cost-effective, portable, one-time dynamic password-generating software token solution using two-factor authentications. It unifies the strengths of one-time password and two-factor authentications and leverages existing mobile devices without additional hardware.

Infosys' Synchronization Middleware Solution
Offers a uniform mechanism to access any database server using .NET technology. The solution simplifies development by eliminating the need to be aware of multiple access mechanisms. It offers a user-friendly interface and provides easy extensions to support a variety of databases.

- Provides a common interface to reduce the complexity of connecting to different databases
- Pulls data from any desktop database and ports it to any device database
- Achieves dual synchronization:
- Snapshot synchronization - only a part of the database table is taken from the server and stored in a device. Changes made to the table on the device are then updated to the server. Only the extracted fields and rows get updated at the server end
- Complete synchronization - a more advanced synchronization of complete database tables by virtue of better conflict and error handling capabilities, which APIs like Remote Data Access API for the SQL Server CE database lack
- Relevant error handling and security in the form of authentication and authorization validity
