Infosys' Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) Middleware
Abstracts vendor-specific nuances and provides a framework facilitating rapid application prototyping. The middleware incorporates a publisher module, enabling a rules engine to interface with the middleware via file passing, memory queues, TCP/HTTP sockets, RMI using JMPR/IIOP, and databases. Applications subscribe to the rules engine and talk via XML to register pertinent business triggers. Reverse channel communication is handled at the middleware level by a separate module that maintains routing information at the server side.
