How does one decide which technology to use? How does one know if the technology has evolved sufficiently for us to take the plunge? Senior architects at Infosys’ Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) have pooled together their expertise and knowledge to answer these queries in ‘Reasons for adopting .NET Framework 3.5’ - the sixth in a series of handbooks.
The handbook discusses the reasons to adopt .NET Framework 3.5 (formerly codenamed Orcas), highlights its key features and provides the authors’ perspectives about the technology. It is based on implementations, consultations, and experiments undertaken at the Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) on .NET Framework 3.0 and 3.5.
