Shift to platforms
SaaS-based offerings will move from back-office functions of finance, procurement and HR to core functions such as order capture, order management and transportation management.
Consolidation of capital investments
Consolidation will be a predominant theme covering green asset management, productivity enhancement and reduction of Selling, General, and Administrative (SG&A) costs. In addition, mobile, fleet, IT and operational assets will be consolidated with work order management and integrated with upstream functions of procurement and inventory management.
