The company has manufacturing operations in 265 manufacturing locations in more than 85 countries.

Business Challenges

The company sought a unified system across businesses and geographies, integrating multiple workforces and diverse business processes. The company had to address challenges across its global supply chain:

  • Inability to generate accurate forecast accuracy based on past and current market trends
  • The company’s supply chain consisted of items with high lead times, creating multiple bottlenecks and a complex supply chain environment
  • Absence of an integrated technology platform resulted in lack of information

Infosys’ Solution

Infosys partnered with the company’s core implementation team to develop a road map for an end-to-end business restructuring program. Infosys designed, developed and implemented an Oracle Advanced Planning System (APS). Our integrated solution resulted in better order promising and enhanced visibility across the supply chain.

We partnered with multiple business groups of the company for design, implementation and rollout of Oracle APS in multiple geographies, adopting 4D methodology for standardization. Our team effected an upgrade from Oracle 11.5.8 to 11.5.9 to 11.5.10 and maintained the system. We deployed the solution across multiple geographies and enabled enterprise reporting.
