Infosys ranked among the greenest brands in India
Infosys has ranked among the 'Top Ten Greenest Brands in India', according to a consumer survey conducted in 2011 by Cohn & Wolfe, Esty Environmental Partners and Penn, Schoen and Berland Associates. Infosys has been featured in the 'Green Brands' list for the third consecutive year.

- Working closely with architects and other vendors to ensure environment-friendly building design for 1,500,000 sq. ft. of green buildings under construction
- Minimizing the use of air conditioning to cool servers through smart data centers
- Adopting virtual platforms such as video conferencing to minimize travel and reduce the carbon footprint
- Software solution to manage a carpooling system for employees through personalized information and alerts
- Green applications including, a desktop-based personal Carbon Calculator, an enterprise-wide Carbon Emission Management System and Environment Resource Management System
