  • Energizing O&G with technology in 2014

    The shale revolution that transformed the oil and gas (O&G) industry in the United States and Canada is set to go global, with the Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimating global shale oil resources at 10 percent of the world’s crude oil. The industry is investing in the development of offshore facilities that are expected to match the production levels of onshore fields over the next 15 - 20 years. Advanced enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques are also enabling companies to almost double the production value of existing wells.
