S/4HANA Implementation for a Personal Care Giant Operating in 50 Countries

The business had at its core an SAP implementation. But the legacy core, without in-memory computing, real-time processes and real-time analytics, was unable to give the business a comprehensive real-time view of their inventory. This meant that they were unable to respond quickly to demand fluctuations with appropriately realigned resources. Simply fixing this one problem of just-in-time inventory visibility, we estimated, would save them at least $3M a year.

The client wanted to carve out its corporate legal entities to a separate S/4HANA Finance system.

  • Using a unique SAP SLO solution approach to carve out 180+ legal entities, we supported the business unit spin off for client, while addressing client challenges in reporting through classic general ledger (GL) and period-end closing in finance.
  • Our team took complete responsibility for end-to-end implementation and migration from classic GL to S/4HANA Finance.
  • By leveraging proprietary tools like easy port for RICEF object porting, HANA CMO for code remediation, and trial balance (TB) tool for initial load, we significantly reduced costs and accelerated implementation.
