A leading US-based upscale fashion retailer wanted to improve time-to-market by upgrading their e-commerce platform comprising of 40+ applications. Despite using agile for application development, they faced several challenges in application resilience, reliability and performance as the frequency of releases increased.
Infosys partnered with the client to implement DevOps for their e-commerce platform with a roadmap for end-to-end automaton of all 40 applications. We defined and implemented technical practices such as infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines. DevOps champions were identified to sustain the DevOps model and a centralized dashboard was setup to help monitor application health.
The Infosys DevOps solution addressed all application challenges, enabling the client to reduce time-to-market by 2 weeks while improving application quality and stability.
