Jesus Perez, Business Analyst at Infosys
This past year has been a crazy ride for me to say the least. After deciding to leave a company who I had worked for around 2 years, I decided to do a business analyst boot camp for around 10 weeks.Shortly after, Infosys came and open doors for me that I possibly couldn't imagine.
Technology has always been fascinating to me. I remember at a young age questioning how technology worked and how it’s put together. During my college years, it was clear to me that technology was the path I wanted to take as a career. Infosys has been a great platform for my career to start as a business analyst. They provide you with the tools and resources necessary to better yourself every day. Infosys cares about technology, its innovation and advancements which makes them a top company.
My journey with Infosys has been an experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything. Shortly after joining Infosys, I was placed with one of their biggest healthcare clients as a business analyst. I was nervous and anxious to be placed with such an important client as my first project. Luckily, I was able to experience the real world with other Infosys colleagues that were of great support for me. I had the privilege to work with people that have a lifetime of experience within the industry. Being able to learn from them definitely was one of the best things that could have happened to me. The knowledge that they can provide is boundless for those who decide to take the initiative and take it in consideration.
After a year and a couple of months of joining Infosys this was the first time visiting and being in one of the hubs. I had always been on the client site and hadn’t had this opportunity present itself. The new technologies you are exposed to within these hubs is amazing. What I’ve been able to experience within a couple of weeks here at the hub are technologies that I was always curious about, but had never tried them before. The opportunity of being part of the inauguration of the Phoenix hub is a privilege and I feel honored to be part of this team.
