Timmy McLellan

Timmy McLellan, Head of Digital Platforms, KONE

Timmy is a transformative IT and digitalization leader with more than 16 years of experience in the field. He has designed, built and run large IT operations on a global scale and has deep expertise in service operations management and in building operations with technology providers and system integrators. Having worked on both sides of the table, as a consultant and as a customer, Timmy possesses a unique perspective on real issues in delivering such transformations and best strategies to mitigate these issues. His passion and expertise lie in translating IT deliverables into real business outcomes that drive the company’s core business and digitalization agenda.

In his current role as Head of Digital Platforms at KONE Corporation, Timmy is accountable for the design and delivery of the digital portfolio of services being rolled out at KONE. He has previously led the design and delivery of a globally managed service delivery of KONE’s core applications portfolio and is now creating a “Two Speed IT” model for KONE to deliver its entire technology portfolio, including its Digital Services.

Timmy holds an Master’s Degree in Information Technology from the Heriot-Watt University and previously worked for global technology majors like Deloitte and CapGemini.
