Ricoh partners with Infosys for infrastructure transformation with the private cloud

When Ricoh Europe realized its IT environment was both spiraling out of control and environmentally unfriendly, it turned to Infosys for a solution. Working with Infosys, Ricoh developed a private cloud that helped consolidate nine data centers into two, cutting infrastructure costs and reducing carbon dioxide emissions significantly.

K2 Advisory, a UK-based analyst firm analyzes how Ricoh, a global technology and services provider, manufacturing imaging devices and digital photographic equipment, is consolidating its data centers in Europe. The report focuses on Ricoh’s agile and scalable infrastructure developed by Infosys, with the private cloud deployed across 35 Ricoh companies in Europe.

K2 Advisory adds that Infosys is realizing its vision of a cloud ecosystem integrator with the success of cloud deployments for clients.
